Against the grain are an independent family owned and run business established since 1995. We started out as a Carpentry and Joinery firm and grew into the present showroom premises in 2005. Owned by husband and wife team Richard and Karn Dyson and supported by a team of CITB and apprentice trained craftsmen, along with Part P registered Electricians and CORGI registered gas fitters, the quality of our products and services, coupled with value for money offered, are second to none.
Our independent status means that we can offer the widest range of products from a variety of manufacturers, at very competitive prices. Whatever it is, we can usually get it for you!
In our large showroom we have displays
of Symphony, K, and Highbridge kitchens, and can also supply kitchens by Lifestyle, Apple, Four Seasons and Crosby. In addition we also offer a comprehensive range of "own brand" kitchens - hand finished to our own exacting standards with soft close doors and drawers as standard, on 18mm rigid built colour matched carcases with 18mm back panels with a huge selection of door finishes.
We are able to supply an extensive range of appliances from market leaders such
as Indesit, Hotpoint, Stoves, Smeg, Rangemaster, Electrolux, Bosch and Neff,
along with accessories, sinks, taps, worktops and tiles. We have a huge selection
of worktops available from all major manufacturers, including laminate, Corian,
Granite and solid wood.
